The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of 4–5 meters, forming a slender cone-shaped crown. The variety is self-incompatible.

The fruits are large, weighing 8–10 grams or more, have a heart shape and a dark-red, almost black color. The flesh is firm, and the variety is characterized by fruit resistance to cracking during rain.
