The Kozanka variety is a local autochthonous variety widespread in the Goriška Brda (Slovenia) and Tarcento (Italy) area. The plant is characterized by good adaptability to the climatic conditions of the region and high, stable yields.
The fruits are heart-shaped and possess high quality characteristics. Phenologically, the variety is distinguished by the start of flowering in mid-April and crop ripening in mid-June.
