The fruits of the variety are characterized by a heart shape and shiny black skin. The flesh is juicy, features increased firmness compared to typical representatives of the Herzkirsche group, and possesses a sweet and spicy flavor.
The tree of this variety is vigorous and very productive. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and market sale.
In pomological descriptions, a possible resemblance to the Wimmer’s große ungarische Herzkirsche variety was noted; however, researchers pointed to differences in the tree vegetation characteristics and the structure of the stone.
