The variety was obtained by crossing the Burlat and Stella Compact varieties. The tree has a vigorous, upright, slightly spreading crown. It enters the bearing stage in the fourth year after planting.
Fruits weighing 10–15 g and up to 30 mm in diameter have a heart shape. The skin is bright red, acquiring a dark burgundy hue upon full ripening. The flesh is pink, with a dessert sweet-and-sour taste and a sugar content of about 14.9° Brix.
The variety belongs to the very early maturity group, ripening 2–4 days after Burlat. The fruits are characterized by dry detachment from the pedicel and are prone to cracking in rainy weather. The variety has good winter hardiness.
