The variety was obtained by crossing Bigarreau Burlat and Stella. The fruits are characterized by a large size with a diameter of 28–30 mm and a weight of 10–11 g. The stone accounts for about 6% of the fruit weight, and the pedicel is thin and of medium length.
The tree is distinguished by vigorous growth and high productivity. The variety is self-fertile and matures early, immediately after Bigarreau Burlat. The fruits have shiny, dark burgundy skin and a harmonious flavor with a balance of sugar and acid.
The breeding of the variety is aimed at increasing resistance to Cytospora, Monilinia, and bacterial canker. The fruits are versatile in use and are suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
