Petrocca is a traditional local variety common in the Lazio region. The tree is characterized by high growth vigor and an upright crown shape. The fruits have light red skin and are medium-sized.

The variety matures around June 5 and is characterized by good productivity. It is genetically self-incompatible (S3S6 genotype). Ravenna Precoce and Ravenna Tardiva varieties are recommended for pollination.
