IFG Cher-two
ActivePrunus avium (L.) L. · Sweet cherry
David W.Cain
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to the late-maturing category; the harvest period can fall between July and mid-August. The tree is self-incompatible and requires the presence of pollinators blooming at the same time. The plant height depends directly on the rootstock used, for example, Gisela 5 or Colt.
The fruits are large, dark, and possess juicy and firm flesh that retains its shape well. The variety exhibits good resistance to cracking during wet weather. The produce is intended for fresh consumption as well as for culinary processing in desserts or beverages.
