Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the mid-late category. The medium to large fruits have a blunt heart shape with a noticeable groove and dark red skin at full maturity. The flesh is characterized by a firm, "cartilaginous" consistency, high juiciness, sweet taste, and pronounced aroma. The transportability of the fruits is rated as good.

The trees have medium vigor and form a wide, spreading crown of medium density. The variety is characterized by high and regular yields. During the ripening period, there is a risk of fruit cracking and rotting under conditions of excessive moisture.

The variety is self-incompatible. Cross-pollination requires other varieties, such as Büttners, Burlat, Hedelfinger, Kassins, Nadino, Sam, or Van. Since the name is regional, local forms with minor differences in characteristics may exist.
