The variety is a chance seedling, also known by the names Pivovka and Pelzkirsche. The tree is characterized by adaptability to local conditions; fruit ripens in mid-July, which corresponds to the 5th–6th cherry week.

The fruit is large or above average in size, has a blunt heart-shaped form and shiny dark red skin. The flesh is red, juicy and firm; the juice is pigmented. The variety is characterized by good flavor qualities, and the fruit is able to remain on the tree after ripening and maintains marketability for about a week after harvest.
