The variety has a columnar growth habit with a straight trunk and short lateral shoots. Tree height is usually 2–3 meters, crown width is about 0.5–1 meter. The parent forms are the varieties Van and Sam.

Fruits with a weight of 10–14 g have a glossy dark ruby color, firm and juicy flesh. The ripening period is mid-season or mid-late. The variety shows good resistance to major diseases and frost resistance down to –28...–30 °C.

The question of self-fertility remains debatable; to obtain maximum yield, pollinator varieties Van, Sam, Rainier, Sunburst, Cordia, Helena are recommended. The variety is suitable for growing in small gardens and containers.
