The variety is a semi-dwarf columnar tree 2 to 3.5 meters in height with a narrow pyramidal crown and short branches. In the breeding process, the variety was obtained by crossing «Van» and «Sam» forms, as well as «Lambert Compact» × «Van».

Fruits weighing 8.5–14 g have a heart-shaped or round shape, dark red, almost black color when ripe, and firm juicy flesh. The ripening period occurs from the second ten-day period of June to the beginning of July. Yield averages 15 kg, reaching 50 kg per tree under favorable conditions.

The plant possesses frost resistance down to -25°C…-30°C, drought tolerance, and tolerance to fungal diseases. The fruits are distinguished by good transportability and are suitable for storage for up to three weeks. The issue of the variety's self-fertility is debated in the literature.
