Variety description

The tree is medium or small in size with a compact, slightly spreading crown. The variety was obtained by open pollination of the variety «Meelika» and has good disease resistance and winter hardiness, adapted to the climatic conditions of Estonia.

Fruits are medium-sized, oblong-oval in shape with a pointed tip. The skin is dark red, almost black; the flesh is dark red, juicy, and of medium density. Fruits ripen in early July and are intended for fresh consumption.

The variety is self-incompatible; pollinators such as «Arthur» or «Kaspar» are required for fruit set. The breeding genotype of the variety is S5S17.
