The variety is a medium-sized tree with a spreading crown shape. The fruits are heart-shaped and of small-to-medium size. The fruit skin is dark red and rather thick. The flesh is dark red, of medium consistency, juicy, with a sweet taste and medium aroma.

It is classified as a mid-early variety. It is a traditional variety included in the official lists for industrial use and cultivation in Slovenia as part of genetic resource conservation programs.
