The variety belongs to mid-late or late maturity groups. Trees are vigorous, forming a wide, spreading, and dense crown. Tree height depends on the rootstock but reaches 3–4 meters with proper pruning.

Fruits are large, heart-shaped; the skin color ranges from dark red to brownish-black with a sheen. The flesh is firm, juicy, and sweet, with a pleasant acidity and aroma. The variety has good transportability and resistance to fruit cracking.

The plant is sensitive to spring frosts during the flowering period and has moderate susceptibility to fungal diseases, in particular to pathogens causing 'leather berry' (shriveling). Fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
