The Temprana de Sot variety is a traditional Spanish cherry variety. It is characterized by a very early flowering period and is a self-compatible variety with an S-locus genotype of S3S6.

In genetic studies, the variety is considered an important breeding resource. It is known that in the 1960s, the Cristobalina variety originated as a result of a spontaneous mutation of Temprana de Sot. The variety shows compatibility with a number of rootstocks used in cherry cultivation.
