The variety is the result of crossing breeding lines V35024 and V35029, derived from the Hedelfingen and Bing varieties. Fruits are medium to large in size, kidney-shaped, with glossy skin of a dark red shade. The flesh is firm and has good consumer qualities.
The variety is classified as mid-season; the harvest time coincides with the Bing variety. The trees demonstrate resistance to diseases caused by pathogens Monilinia fructicola and Pseudomonas syringae, and are also resistant to fruit cracking during rainy weather. Genetically, the variety is included in incompatibility group IX with S-alleles S1S4.
