The tree is vigorous with an upright habit. Fruits are small or medium-sized, elliptical in shape. The skin of the fruit is dark purple with a characteristic bloom. The flesh is yellow-green, moderately firm; the stone is semi-freestone.
The variety is mid-late, ripening in August. The fruits are characterized as having low juiciness and a bland taste. They are used for making jams, desserts, liqueurs, drying, and are also suitable for fresh consumption. The variety is susceptible to bacterial canker.
