The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a narrow upright crown. The fruits are small, oval or ovoid-oval in shape. The skin is firm, with a yellow ground color and a red or dark red blush. The light yellow flesh is juicy, sweet, with a light aroma; the stone separates easily.
The variety is self-fertile and precocious, producing abundant and regular yields in August and early September. It possesses winter hardiness corresponding to zones 1–4, sometimes 5, according to the Swedish system. It is used as a dessert variety and as a pollinator for other plum varieties.
