The variety is very early; fruit ripening begins around July 23 and extends over approximately two weeks. The fruits are small, with thin and delicate skin, which makes them prone to cracking in rainy weather and easily shed upon reaching maturity.
The fruit flesh is yellowish, delicate, firm, moderately juicy, with a sweet taste. The stone is relatively small in size and usually separates well from the flesh, although in unfavorable seasons it may adhere to it.
Due to the thin skin, the fruits require prompt sale or processing immediately after harvest. The variety is known by many synonyms, and in historical pomological literature, a group of similar varieties was often grouped under this name.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
