Fruits ripen early, predominantly at the end of July. The taste qualities of the fruits are characterized as good, while the skin has a pronounced sweet-and-sour flavor, and the flesh may be difficult to separate from the stone.
The variety is used in scientific phytopathological research as an object for studying susceptibility to Plum pox virus and Cherry virus A.
