The fruits of this variety have an oval or oblong-oval shape, with an average weight of about 33 g. The skin is dark red with a transition to a violet shade, covered with a thick bluish waxy bloom. The flesh is yellowish, sometimes with greenish or reddish inclusions, and has a soft, often mealy consistency. The taste is characterized as sour and tart with moderate sweetness; the stone separates from the flesh easily.
The tree has moderate vigor with an upright crown type and heavy branches. The variety enters bearing relatively late and is distinguished by irregular yields. Flowering occurs in the mid-late period, and fruit ripening falls at the end of July or the beginning of August. The variety is adapted to local growing conditions.
