The tree can reach a height of up to 8 meters. Growth at a young age is usually vigorous and upright, later the crown becomes more moderate. Fruits are medium-sized, weighing about 20 g, dark blue or purple in color with a characteristic bloom. The flesh is golden-yellow or greenish-yellow, juicy, with a high sugar content and a pronounced aroma. The stone separates well from the flesh.
The variety is late-maturing: harvesting usually falls at the beginning or middle of September. The fruits are universal in use: they are consumed fresh, used for making marmalades, jams, drying, baking, and the production of alcoholic beverages. The variety is considered very hardy to low winter temperatures, but highly susceptible to the plum pox virus.
