The variety is a seedling from open pollination of the La Crescent variety. The tree has medium vigor and a spreading crown. It enters the bearing stage in the 3–4th year after planting.
The fruits are round and medium-sized, with purple-red skin and greenish-yellow flesh of sweet and sour taste; the stone separates partially. The variety is considered mid-season, with ripening occurring in the middle or second half of August.
The variety has good general winter hardiness, however, the winter hardiness of flower buds may be insufficient, and in rainy years the tree is susceptible to fruit rot. The variety is self-sterile and requires the presence of pollinators, while it can itself act as a pollinator for other varieties.
Plum for table and compote use, suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
