The Jannelli variety is traditionally cultivated in the province of Bari and the Barletta-Andria-Trani region. The fruit has an average weight of about 30–35 g, an oval, asymmetrical shape, and a clearly defined suture. The skin is thin, covered with a waxy bloom and visible medium-sized lenticels.
The flesh of the fruit is yellow-green, with a medium texture and high density. The peduncle of the variety is short, and the cavity for it is narrow and shallow. Accurate data on plant height and disease resistance are absent in the sources.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
