ActivePrunus domestica L. · European plum
Walter Hartmann c/o Universität Hohenheim
10 August 2026
The tree is medium-sized, 2 to 3.5 meters in height, with a dense spreading crown. The variety is precocious and characterized by good winter hardiness, as well as resistance to scab.
Fruits are large, with a weight of 50–70 g (up to 80–90 g), oval in shape. The skin is pinkish-red or violet-lilac in color, often with a waxy bloom. The flesh is juicy and firm, the taste is sweet-sour, the pit is small and separates well.
Fruit ripening occurs in the second half of August. The variety is self-fertile, however, the presence of pollinators can contribute to increased yields.
