The variety is the result of a cross between Giant × Yakima. The tree is of medium vigor, forming a spreading crown during the fruiting period. Fruits ripen in the second ten-day period of August.
Fruits are large, oval, weighing 50–70 g, with pinkish-red skin and a waxy bloom. The flesh is orange or yellow, juicy and firm; the stone separates easily.
The variety possesses high resistance to Wilsonomyces carpophilus and scab. It is self-fertile, but the presence of pollinator varieties helps to increase yield; it is a good pollinator for other plum varieties itself.
