The variety is the result of a cross between «Katinka» and «Zwintschers Frühe». The tree is characterized by medium vigor and forms an open crown, convenient for maintenance and training in small gardens or on trellises. Fruit ripening occurs in early to mid-July.
The fruits, weighing 35–45 g, have an elongated-oval shape, dark blue skin with a bloom, and firm, juicy yellow-green flesh with a freestone pit. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption and culinary processing.
The plant possesses high frost resistance, tolerance to heat and late spring frosts. Tolerance to plum pox virus and good general resistance to diseases are noted.
