The plum variety Miku was bred by breeder A. Kask in the 1970s. References to it are found in reports of working groups on the genus Prunus.
In scientific publications, the variety is mentioned in the context of research on susceptibility to shot-hole disease of leaves, caused by the fungus Stigmina carpophila, in the conditions of Latvia. Detailed morphological and agronomic characteristics of the plant and fruit are absent in open sources.
