The variety is a seedling of the variety «Perdrigon Violet». The fruits are very small, weighing 12–15 g, and have an almost spherical shape. The skin is yellow with an intense whitish bloom and red speckles. The flesh is golden-yellow, firm, sweet and sour in taste with a light aroma, and the stone separates easily.
The fruits ripen at the end of the first half of August and are prone to dropping when ripe. The variety possesses high resistance to frost and diseases, but the fruits are sensitive to mechanical damage due to their soft skin. The plant is self-incompatible and requires the presence of another plum variety as a pollinator.
The variety is traditionally used in processing for the preparation of jams and juices.
