The tree is low-growing with a sparse, spreading crown and branches prone to drooping under the weight of the harvest. The variety is partially self-fertile and requires the presence of pollinator varieties to obtain maximum yield.
Fruits are medium or slightly above medium in size, oval in shape. The skin is dark red-purple with a pronounced blue waxy bloom. The flesh is dark yellow, juicy and firm; the stone separates well.
The variety matures in late August – early September. The fruits have good transportability and are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. The tree is winter-hardy, however, frost damage to flower buds is possible in severe winters.
Resistance to diseases is medium; the tree may require protection against leaf spot. Rejuvenating pruning is recommended every 2–4 years to maintain fruit quality and plant vitality.
