The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and an upright crown, reaching a height of 3.5–4.5 meters on standard rootstocks. The variety is self-fertile and serves as a good pollinator for other varieties, demonstrating high yield with potential biennial bearing.
The fruits are round with golden-yellow skin, often with a red blush, and fragrant sweet flesh. The stone separates easily from the flesh. The ripening period occurs from late August to mid-September.
The variety has winter hardiness down to -29°C (USDA zone 5) and good disease resistance, particularly to the Plum pox virus. The fruits are mainly used for processing into jams and baked goods, but are also suitable for fresh consumption.
