The use of this rootstock contributes to a reduction in the vigor of grafted trees compared to Myrobalan seedlings.
The plant possesses tolerance to foliage diseases and is propagated by softwood cuttings, with a rooting percentage of approximately 70%. The influence of the rootstock on yield and fruit quality, including weight, acidity, and soluble solids content, manifests depending on the chosen scion and growing conditions.
