The rootstock is used for grafting plum and other stone fruit crops. Trees grafted onto it begin to produce economically significant yields from the fifth year of life. The rootstock provides high growth vigor for grafted trees.
The plant possesses tolerance to Plum pox virus. Propagation can be carried out both by seed and vegetatively using cuttings.
