This ecotype is the result of folk selection, common in the Umbria region. The tree has a spreading crown shape, and its leaves are heart-shaped, light green in color, and medium-sized.
The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators for fruit set. The fruits have a round, slightly asymmetrical shape and green skin, suitable for fresh consumption and drying.
