ActivePrunus domestica L. · European plum

The tree is characterized by moderately vigorous growth and an early flowering period in April. The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinator varieties for fruit set. A compatibility issue with certain rootstocks, particularly cherry plum (Prunus cerasifera), is noted.
The oval-shaped fruits have a dark blue, sometimes purple-red skin with a bloom. The flesh is yellow, firm, and juicy; the stone is partially freestone. The variety is considered suitable for fresh consumption and is a high-quality raw material for jams and preserves.
The plant is sensitive to growing conditions and prefers semi-loamy, moist soils. In the literature, the variety is characterized as healthy; however, specific data on resistance to particular diseases are absent.
