The rootstock was developed through selection of myrobalan. Trees grafted onto this rootstock are distinguished by high growth vigor and form a large-volume crown.
The plant possesses sensitivity to bacteriosis, especially in areas with insufficient moisture reserves, as well as to verticillium wilt. Studies show the influence of the rootstock on the biochemical composition of the fruit of grafted crops, in particular on the content of organic acids and vitamin C.
