The variety is a clone of the Prunus domestica type and was selected during a breeding program in Poland. Fruits ripen in the third ten-day period of September; the variety is suitable for fresh consumption and industrial processing.
The plant possesses lower susceptibility to the Plum pox virus compared to the original Węgierka Zwykła form. Due to its late flowering period, the variety is used as a parent form for breeding new types.
In commercial fruit growing, tree growth parameters depend on the type of rootstock used. The variety is grown in Poland on a production scale alongside other plum clones.
