The tree has an upright crown and medium vigor. The fruits are small, round, and have red skin with a grayish waxy bloom. The flesh is yellowish-white, soft, and sweet; the stone is semi-freestone. The variety is characterized as high-yielding with fruits prone to easy dropping.
The variety is late-maturing; fruits ripen in mid-September. Trees are undemanding to growing conditions and capable of tolerating temporary excessive moisture. Winter hardiness was historically considered high, however, during the severe winters of 2005–2007, tree damage was recorded. Disease resistance is rated as medium.
