The variety was obtained at the Polli Horticultural Research Centre of the Estonian University of Life Sciences as a result of crossing Noarootsi Punane and Agen.
In Estonian studies, the variety is classified as winter-sensitive. In the conditions of the North-West of Russia, good winter hardiness of flower buds was noted, with their mortality rate being less than 25%.
The variety is of value for breeding work. Detailed data on plant height, maturity dates, and marketable characteristics of the fruit are absent in the studied publications.
