MYREST (Myrabi) is a breeding form of the species Prunus cerasifera. It is used as a rootstock for grafting plum and apricot varieties and is not a variety of domestic plum (Prunus domestica).
This rootstock has good compatibility with various plum varieties and provides medium to high tree vigor. It is characterized by resistance to low temperatures, good drought tolerance, and lower sensitivity to chlorosis.
Plants grafted onto this rootstock are characterized by good soil anchorage and high yield.
