The fruits of the variety are small to medium-sized, weighing 20–25 g, dark blue, almost black in color with a waxy bloom. The flesh is greenish-yellow, juicy, with a pleasant sweet and sour taste. The stone is semi-freestone or freestone. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and is also suitable for compotes, although the fruits may fall apart during boiling.
The tree is medium to large in size with a spreading crown, prone to root sucker formation. The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators such as «Victoria», «Suhkruploom», «Noarootsi punane», «Edinburgh» or «Emma Leppermann». Wood winter hardiness is high; flower bud hardiness is moderate to low. Yield varies by year.
