The tree is medium-sized or large with a spreading crown. The variety possesses good disease resistance and wood frost resistance, although the flower buds have moderate to low resistance to low temperatures. One of the features is the ability to bear fruit in temporarily waterlogged areas.
The fruits are medium-sized or small, oval-shaped, dark blue with a waxy bloom. The flesh is greenish-yellow, juicy, soft, with a semi-freestone pit. The yield of the variety can vary significantly from year to year.
The variety is self-incompatible. To obtain a yield, pollinators are required; recommended varieties are Victoria, Suhkruploom, Noarootsi punane, Edinburgh, and Emma Leppermann.
