The variety is classified as Prunus domestica subsp. insititia. The fruits have an orange-yellow color, and the flowering period is early. The plant is cultivated mainly in home gardens and on family farms in Croatia.
During phytosanitary studies, the variety was tested for the presence of Plum pox virus and determined to be free from this infection.
