Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was obtained by crossing Coe’s Golden Drop and Giant Prune. The tree is vigorous, fast-growing, and forms a rounded or spreading crown 3 to 7 meters in height. Due to high yield and fruit weight, branches require supports to prevent breakage.

Fruits are large, oval, with golden-yellow skin, often with a pink or orange blush. The yellow flesh is juicy, sweet-tasting, and has a honey aroma. The harvest ripens in September. The variety is self-fertile, however, cross-pollination with Victoria, Avalon, or Coe’s Golden Drop varieties increases yield.

The plant has good general resistance to diseases, with a noted weak susceptibility of flowers to Monilinia. Winter hardiness is up to -15…-20°C. The fruits have delicate skin, are prone to damage during harvesting, and are suitable for both fresh consumption and culinary processing.
