The variety is self-incompatible and requires cross-pollination. It belongs to the XXI cross-incompatibility group, having an S-allele genotype of S11S31H or S28S38. The fruits are characterized by a thin paper-like shell.

Under Macedonian conditions, fruit ripening occurs in October, making the variety late-maturing. The main limiting factor for its cultivation is the early flowering phase, which leads to frequent damage to flowers by recurring spring frosts.
