The variety is a seedling of the «Diósdi félpapírhéjú» variety. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth. It belongs to late-maturing varieties, with ripening occurring at the end of September — beginning of October. The late flowering of the variety helps protect against spring frosts.

The fruits are medium-large, hard-shelled. The kernel percentage is 20–25%. The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators, while it is often used as a pollinator for other almond varieties.
