The Tétényi bőtermő tree has weak to medium-strong growth vigor, forming a dense, spherical crown. The height of an adult plant reaches 6–8 meters with a crown diameter of 4–6 meters. The shoots are sturdy, and the leaves are dark green and elongated.

The fruits mature in the first half of September. The shell is of the semi-paper type, which facilitates cracking. The kernel is aromatic and sweet. The variety demonstrates good drought tolerance, however, flower buds are sensitive to low temperatures. Planting in locations protected from spring frosts is recommended.

The self-fertility of the variety remains a subject of discussion, therefore the use of pollinator varieties such as Tétényi rekord, Tétényi kedvenc, Budatétényi 1, or Budatétényi 70 is recommended. The variety requires regular protection against fungal diseases, aphids, and codling moth.
