Variety description

The variety forms a compact dense shrub 0.8–1.5 m wide. Leaves are leathery, shiny, dark green. Young shoots and leaves have a characteristic bright red color upon regrowth, which changes to green as they mature.

The plant blooms in April-May with creamy-white fragrant flowers, however, the variety is characterized by a low tendency to flower. The shrub has high resistance to summer heat and foliage diseases, and is capable of withstanding frosts down to -25...-30°C.

Due to the upright structure of the shoots, the variety is not prone to lodging and is suitable for creating hedges, solitary plantings and cultivation in containers. All parts of the plant contain toxic substances.
