The plant has a compact and dense growth habit. Over 4 years, it reaches a height of about 1.8–2 meters, while it can potentially grow to 3 meters or more. The variety is suitable for solitary plantings and the creation of hedges.

Young shoots have a pronounced dark red color. Mature leaves are elliptical in shape and reach a length of up to 15 cm. The variety has good winter hardiness and high resistance to shot-hole disease.
