The variety was obtained through interspecific hybridization of the varieties Fantasia and (J.H. Hale × Prunus davidiana). The tree is characterized by medium vigor and high yield, reaching 40.15 kg per plant.
The fruits are very large, round, weighing from 225 to 343 g. The flesh is yellow, tender, juicy, with a pronounced aroma and sweet-and-sour taste; the stone separates well. Harvesting occurs in mid-September, which is 49 days later than the Redhaven variety.
